On July 16, Gunster will host its annual Education Foundation of Palm Beach County’s Backpack Build to assemble backpacks with school supplies for students and teachers across Palm Beach County schools.
Gunster shares a long history of partnership with the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County. The late Ed Tancer, a former Gunster shareholder, served as chairman of the board of directors and spearheaded the Ed Foundation’s Backpack Build. Today, shareholder Greg Schwinghammer continues to carry on Ed’s legacy by serving on the Education Foundation’s board of directors.
We are also proud to participate in the Education Foundation’s Stuff the Bus campaign, a summer-long school supply drive culminating in a grand finale event on August 6th to literally "stuff a bus" with donations. Leading up to the big day, Gunster will be collecting school supplies and accepting donations at our West Palm Beach office.
