On November 19, Gunster is set to sponsor the Miami-Dade Bar 
2025 Circle of Excellence Awards Reception, honoring exceptional lawyers and paralegals in the legal field. The ceremony will take place at the Mayfair House Hotel & Garden in Coconut Grove, and it will be from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
Additionally, Louis Nostro has been selected to receive the Circle of Excellence Award for Probate and Guardianship and Mahesh Manwani has been selected to receive the Circle of Excellence Award for Securities Law.
Lou Nostro focuses his practice on estate planning, with an emphasis on implementing effective and efficient tax reduction strategies. He is board certified by The Florida Bar as a specialist in both Taxation and Wills, Trusts & Estates, and is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). Lou serves on the board of trustees for the University of Florida's Levin College of Law and is a founding board member and past chair of the Florida Tax Institute. He has been named as one of the “Top 100” estate planning attorneys in the nation by Worth magazine; and was named as a 2018 "Estate Planning Lawyer of the Year" by Best Lawyers; and has been recognized by Florida Trend magazine, the South Florida Legal Guide and numerous other publications.
Mahesh H. Nanwani is a shareholder who joined the firm in 1998. Mahesh practices in the areas of U.S. and international mergers and acquisitions law, securities law and international law, with an emphasis on cross border transactions with Asian businesses. Mahesh counsels clients in corporate, securities and international matters and regularly structures, negotiates and closes complex corporate, securities and commercial transactions, including forward and reverse mergers, stock, equity and asset acquisitions, corporate spin-offs, corporate recapitalization, reorganization, restructuring and redemption transactions, joint ventures and strategic partnership transactions.
