Of those recognized, the 'Thought Leader' distinction is awarded to individuals who perform especially well, around 25-30% of listed practitioners.
Michelle Six | Commercial Litigation - E-Discovery
Michelle is a nationally recognized litigator in Gunster's eDiscovery practice focused on electronic discovery law, data privacy, cross border discovery, and AI technology exploration. She counsels clients on the development and execution of defensible eDiscovery processes in connection with contentious, high-stakes commercial litigation, products liability cases, antitrust matters, and internal and government investigations. Michelle has been recognized annually as a Lexology Index 'Thought Leader' in Commercial Litigation - E-Discovery since 2020.
Joseph G. Santoro | Employment & Labor
Joe serves on Gunster's board of directors and is a founding member of the firm's Labor & Employment practice. Joe is an experienced trial lawyer who represents clients in courts throughout the country in a variety of high-profile litigation matters, including complex partnership disputes, fiduciary litigation, contract litigation, corporate theft and employee embezzlement, misappropriation of corporate opportunity claims, and numerous other significant business-related litigation matters where he has obtained multimillion-dollar jury verdicts and arbitration awards in favor of clients.
Elaine Bucher | Private Client
Elaine is a shareholder in Gunster's Private Wealth Services group who serves on the firm's board of directors. Her practice is dedicated exclusively to sophisticated estate planning, estate and trust administration and fiduciary litigation. Elaine has extensive experience in implementing advanced wealth preservation techniques, transfer tax planning and business succession planning, as well as representing fiduciaries and beneficiaries in complex and disputed estate and trust administration matters. She has developed a niche in representing clients who have complicated and sensitive family situations, and has written and lectured extensively on estate planning for second marriages and blended families.
Gregory M. Munson | Environment & Climate Change
Greg is a shareholder in Gunster's Environmental & Land Use practice, representing regulated industries in the industrial, agricultural, mining, and utility sectors across all areas of state and federal environmental law. He represents clients before Florida’s executive branch agencies, the state’s water management districts, the Division of Administrative Hearings, the Florida governor and cabinet, the EPA, and the Florida Legislature. Greg twice held senior positions at the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
Luna E. Phillips | Environment & Climate Change
Luna is a Florida Bar board-certified shareholder who leads Gunster's Environmental practice, focusing on environmental, administrative, and governmental law. Prior to joining the firm, she was a senior attorney for the South Florida Water Management District and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Luna practices exclusively in the area of water and natural resources law before state and federal agencies. Her practice includes assisting large-scale developers, agricultural entities, public and private companies, as well as individuals in a wide range of water-related issues.
