Florida Council of 100, chaired by Gunster's George LeMieux, shared the latest insights from its Q3 2025 CEO Economic Outlook Index, underscoring the state’s continued economic strength and optimism among business leaders. The quarterly index, modeled after the national Business Roundtable (BRT) index, captures forward-looking expectations from top Florida CEOs on sales, capital spending, and employment.
This quarter, Florida’s CEO Economic Outlook Index climbed 8 points to 91—outpacing the national BRT index, which stands at 76. The survey results reflect a robust business climate and a strong sense of confidence in Florida’s economic trajectory.

The quarterly index signals increasing optimism among our members who are collaborating with business leaders around the world to create opportunity and welcome innovation so that Florida’s economy and workforce can thrive.”
