Gunster, one of Florida’s oldest and largest full-service business law firms, today announced that Christian S. Bruno and Jorge Zamora Jr. have joined the firm’s Real Estate and Employment & Labor practice, respectively, at the expanding Miami office.
Bruno has extensive experience in commercial real estate, handling projects such as acquisitions, financings, sales, leasing, and development for various industries, including theme parks, hotels, office buildings, and healthcare facilities. He works with a wide range of clients, including property owners, developers, investors, financial institutions, REITs, private equity funds, and joint ventures. Bruno advises clients on general corporate and finance matters and frequently serves as outside general counsel to businesses in the hospitality and retail sectors. He also acts as special local Florida counsel for U.S. law firms handling Florida acquisitions and financings across all asset classes.
Zamora is an experienced employment and labor law attorney, who advises companies across industries on regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, dispute resolution, health and safety, labor relations, and employment agreements. Zamora’s experience includes both outside counsel work and serving as in-house counsel for one of the world's largest horticultural growers based in South Florida. His broad legal and business experience allows him to effectively manage legal risks and collaborate with clients on practical solutions. He regularly handles investigations, audits, and inspections by government agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Department of Labor, and Immigration & Customs Enforcement.

He is also actively involved in several professional associations, including the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association, the Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, the Urban Land Institute, and the Real Estate Committee of the Miami Chamber of Commerce. Bruno earned his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Zamora is an active member of the Dade County Bar Association and the Florida Bar Association’s Labor & Employment Section. He also serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Dade County Farm Bureau, as well as its Government Affairs Committee, and is a member of the Florida Nursery, Growers, and Landscape Association’s Political Action Committee. Zamora received his J.D. from Florida International University College of Law.
