Gunster is pleased to announce that Fort Lauderdale Office Managing Shareholder Jonathan Osborne has been appointed by Governor DeSantis to serve a four-year term on the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Fourth District Court of Appeal.
The Fourth District Court of Appeal handles appeals and extraordinary writ cases from the Fifteenth, Seventeenth, and Nineteenth Judicial Circuits, which are composed of Palm Beach, Broward, St. Lucie, Martin, Indian River and Okeechobee Counties.
Osborne's new appointment runs from 2025 to 2029.
Jonathan K. Osborne is a business litigation shareholder and co-chair of the firm’s White Collar Defense & Internal Investigations practice group. He began his practice at Gunster and later returned to the firm after serving in the U.S. Department of Justice as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of Florida. Jonathan currently serves as the Managing Shareholder of the firm’s Fort Lauderdale Office.
