Gunster is proud to announce that shareholder Jennifer Nicole was appointed to the North Broward Hospital District (NBHD) Board of Commissioners. Under the Broward Health brand, the North Broward Hospital District operates over 30 healthcare facilities in communities such as Deerfield Beach, Pompano Beach and surrounding areas. Alongside four others who were reappointed to the Board, Jennifer will help guide the NBHD to deliver effective and efficient healthcare to patients and advance education and research.
Previously, Nicole served as the chairperson for the Broward County Housing Authority, where she helped manage various housing initiatives across the county.
Jennifer Nicole has been providing litigation and strategy advice to Gunster's clients for more than 20 years. Jennifer has experience in many areas of complex commercial litigation, including trademark and copyright litigation, unfair competition claims, real property litigation, shareholder and partnership disputes, and other business litigation. She has represented both individuals and businesses.
Jennifer has taken and defended hundreds of depositions and argued before both federal and state judges on all types of issues. Jennifer has tried both jury and non-jury cases in both state and federal courts in Florida, ranging from several days to a month.
