Gunster attorneys Jounice Nealy-Brown and Frank Florio co-authored an article published by the Tampa Bay Business Journal, discussing what happens after a lawsuit, and key considerations in determining whether or not to pursue litigation to collect on a money judgment.
Nealy-Brown and Florio explain that lawsuits can be costly, time consuming and extremely burdensome, and businesses need to be thoughtful in deciding whether or not it is worth the effort when they are awarded a money judgment.
Jounice Nealy-Brown is a member of the Labor and Employment Law and Business Litigation practice groups, and advises clients in litigation matters, including employment discrimination and probate issues. She joined Gunster after serving as a federal judicial law clerk for The Honorable Anthony E. Porcelli and The Honorable Mary S. Scriven, both of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division.
Frank Anthony Florio is a business litigation attorney who previously worked at one of Miami’s premier commercial litigation and class action law firms; served as a judicial intern for United States Magistrate Judge Edwin G.
