Schneider appear in the second edition of Florida Trend's Legal Elite Notable - Women Leaders in Law list, which spotlights women who have made outstanding impacts on the legal profession and mentor or act as a role model for others in the workplace. Honorees are featured in the publication’s December 2024 issue as part of its Legal Elite Notable series.
Florida Trend invited peer nominations from across the state to recommend women leaders in law who met specific methodology and criteria parameters. Nominations were vetted and the most noteworthy candidates were selected based on their outstanding leadership, mentorship, vision for change and growth.

Luna E. Phillips is a Florida Bar board certified Gunster shareholder who leads the firm's Environmental practice with more than two decades of experience in water and natural resource law. Prior to joining the firm, Luna was a senior attorney for the South Florida Water Management District and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. She has published articles in The Florida Bar Journal, the Daily Business Review, and Florida Trend, and has presented at numerous conferences and seminars organized by the Florida Chamber Foundation, the American Bar Association, and the Florida Engineering Society. In addition, Luna is actively involved in the American Water Resources Association’s Florida Section, serving as both a board member and the Vice President of the organization.
Lauren Vickroy Purdy serves as Gunster’s Jacksonville Office Managing Shareholder and co-chair of the firm’s Appellate practice. She advises local, national and multinational clients in a wide array of business disputes in both state and federal courts. She also serves as one of the firm’s Loss Prevention Partners where she assists the firm’s general counsel with internal loss prevention issues. Lauren previously served as vice chair of Gunster’s Business Litigation Practice Group. Lauren is a member of the Women's Giving Alliance, a philanthropic organization dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in Northeast Florida. She is also a graduate of Leadership Florida and has served in numerous leadership roles within the organization.
As leader of Gunster's Trust & Estates practice, the largest in Florida, Lisa A. Schneider has over 30 years of experience in counseling families about wealth preservation and transfer tax techniques, with a focus on planning for complex family structures and business succession. Lisa is committed to the growth and advancement of women in and the legal profession, as she co-chaired the firm's Women's Leadership Forum, co-chairs the firm's mentorship program, and serves as a member of the Palm Beach Jewish Community Foundation Professional Advisory Committee.
