Gunster Attorney Emma Shapiro

Overview

Emma is an attorney in the Immigration practice group based in the Miami office. She supports clients and attorneys on a variety of family-based and employment-based immigration matters, including the preparation and filing of nonimmigrant and immigrant petitions, including Investor visas, Extraordinary Ability visas, and Consular Processing matters.

Emma has worked intermittently with the Immigration Practice Group since 2021, gaining experience both prior to and during law school. This continuity has provided her with practical insight into case strategy, petition preparation, and client communication across complex immigration processes.

Emma earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, where she served as a Staff Editor for the University of Miami Business Law Review. She received her Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government, cum laude, with a minor in International Affairs from Florida State University.
