Overview
Eugene Lindsey III focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, white collar criminal defense, and domestic and international arbitration. With more than 30 years of trial and appellate court experience, he represents clients in federal and state courts across the nation.
Gene’s cases span business disputes, such as shareholder, corporate control and business divorces and business valuation cases, securities litigation, construction disputes, property owner/developer disputes, and RICO, money laundering and public corruption cases. Among his successes, Gene secured acquittal for a client charged in the largest money laundering sting operation in U.S. history, won dismissal of all felony counts in a public corruption and RICO case, and achieved reversal of a proposed class action settlement in appellate litigation against a national title insurer.
In each instance, Gene carefully analyzes the facts, assesses the risk and then devises a litigation strategy informed by his decades of courtroom advocacy and deep understanding of complex high-stakes cases. Applying the broad perspective of a long-standing criminal defense lawyer and civil dispute litigator, Gene develops his case strategy and dispute resolution solutions.
A skilled communicator, he strives to create compelling arguments to support his clients’ position whether fighting it out in court, drafting an appellate brief, negotiating a settlement or resolving the dispute through arbitration.
