Overview
William O’Leary is an attorney in Gunster’s Jacksonville office and a member of the firm’s Business Litigation practice group. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including disputes involving breach of contract, fraud, tortious interference, civil RICO, and a wide range of other business-related disputes.
Prior to joining Gunster, William practiced at a Vault 10 law firm, where he represented multiple Fortune 100 companies in high-stakes commercial and products liability matters involving nine-figure exposure. In that role, he developed experience managing sophisticated litigation with significant financial and reputational risk, and contributed to strategic, results-driven defenses in complex, high-pressure matters.
William graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he served as an editor of the Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy and on the board of the Florida Moot Court Team. He received numerous awards for excellence in oral advocacy and was inducted into the Order of the Barristers for his contributions to the team. William also earned book awards in Florida Civil Procedure and Trial Practice and served as a teaching assistant for legal writing courses.
In his free time, William enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, golfing, and cheering on the Jacksonville Jaguars.
