Overview
Christen Spake is a Florida Bar-Certified Real Estate attorney focusing on land development and real estate law. She offers comprehensive counsel in land use, zoning, and development approvals, real estate transactions, commercial leasing, and development agreements. Christen guides clients ranging from individual landowners to large-scale developers through complex regulatory, transactional, and development approval processes.
By balancing legal rights with practical business considerations and recognizing that land use decisions require a strategic blend of legal insight and political awareness, Christen strives to provide clients with tailored solutions that align with their goals while navigating the intricacies of Florida’s widely varied jurisdictions and regulatory landscape.
Over the years, Christen has worked on a diverse portfolio of projects, including residential communities, office and industrial spaces, and agricultural uses. Her emphasis on building quality relationships with clients, development teams, and local stakeholders ignites extraordinary possibilities for her clients’ projects and makes hers a deeply rewarding career.
Beyond the practice of law and time with her family, Christen serves in various community roles including Martin County Community Land Trust's Board of Directors, Helping People Succeed’s Finance and Healthy Family Advisory Committees, and Operation 300's adventure camps. An athlete through college, Christen enjoys staying active and outdoors, and can often be found on the water, tennis court, or golf course in her spare time.
