Overview
Isabella Forero is an attorney in Gunster’s Corporate practice group based in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office. Her practice focuses on complex business transactions and general corporate advisory, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, public carve-outs, venture capital and minority investments, strategic add-ons and divestitures, asset purchases, corporate governance advisory, employment and consulting arrangements, incentive equity arrangements, and commercial contracts.
With an emphasis on delivering practical and commercial legal solutions, Isabella advises businesses, private equity sponsors, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders on strategic transactions in a wide range of industries. Her broad corporate experience spans all stages of an organization’s lifecycle. Prior to joining Gunster, Isabella advised private equity sponsors at a major national law firm in middle-market transactions ranging from several million to over a billion dollars in value.
Isabella earned her J.D. from Yale Law School, where she graduated in 2023 as a Class Marshal, was awarded the Clifford L. Porter Prize for outstanding student performance in taxation, and participated in the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Clinic. She received her B.A. in Government & Politics, summa cum laude, from St. John's University in New York in 2020, with minors in Women's Studies and International Studies.
