Luke Boyett

Overview

Luke Boyett is an associate in Gunster’s Private Wealth Services Group. He earned both his bachelor’s degree in finance and his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida. While in law school, he received the Book Award in his Business Entity Taxation class for earning the highest grade.

He later earned his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law, regarded as the top tax law program in the country, according to LLM Guide (2025). Luke’s combined background in finance and tax informs his approach as he strives to develop customized, tax-efficient estate plans that reflect each client’s unique goals. Luke places a strong emphasis on attention to detail and clear communication, values that guide him in helping clients preserve wealth and thoughtfully structure their legacies.

Born and raised in Miami, Luke draws on his understanding of the local community and a client-centered approach to his practice. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, and making the most of South Florida’s coastal lifestyle.
